PARASITE NAMED BEST PICTURE OF 2019 BY VANCOUVER FILM CRITICS CIRCLE; MARRIAGE STORY LEADS ALL AWARDS WITH FOUR WINS

VANCOUVER, B.C. (December 16, 2019) – Noah Baumbach’s Marriage Story leads the Vancouver Film Critic’s Circle international awards with four wins, including Best Actor for Adam Driver, Best Actress for Scarlett Johansson, Best Supporting Actress for Laura Dern, and Best Screenplay for Baumbach. 

The other big winner was Bong Joon-ho’s Parasite, which picked up Best Picture, Best Foreign Language Film, and Best Director. 

Brad Pitt won Best Supporting Actor for his role in Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood while Honeyland was named Best Documentary. 

Winners of the VFCC’s Canadian awards will be announced at an awards ceremony in Vancouver on Monday, January 6.
